they stuck us at a small table right in the noisy bar. We waited 20 minutes for the table which we were fine with. But the host could have warned us of where she was sitting us. The air was stagnant and honestly I wasn’t impressed by the food or the non caring waitress. Blue moon was cold that was the plus. And it’s not expensive. Thank goodness.

Sat at the bar for quick service, but was ignored for over 20 minutes. Despite it being pretty much empty, the waitress was busy talking and serving drinks to the same 2 parties repeatedly. We got another employee’s attention to let them know we’d like to order, and we watched as they went up to our waitress and told them, but she continued to ignore us and continue talking with others. After getting their attention finally and being glanced at for a second, we were told “one minute”. After another 5 minutes, we walked out. They didn’t even seem to care.

Great food, great drinks, great people, great view!

I went there twice and twice I explained to the owner, I believe, that I was disabled and could not sit at the high tables. Even though there were tables for four open ,and there was only two of us, I was still told to take the high table and chairs because that's all he had available. I guess he never heard of the ADA, as no accommodations were made. We should have been seated at the table for 4 as an accommodation as we don't take that long to eat. If you are disabled don't go there. ADA rules are not followed and I guess we're not wanted there as no accommodations are given

Delicious food and really great specials. Ordered King Crab w/fries for $34.99 and a snow crab special for $17.99. Food and service were great. The only downside is that the smoking area let's the smoke in everytime the door to it is open.

Go there for the muscles in marinara sauce it's the best

It’s all about who you know at this establishment and the behind the scenes varies prices was once a go to establishment - 3 chances because I loved the atmosphere and food specials for so long only to have unacceptable service and triple the drink prices

Great place for good food and good drinks outside on the deck. You always meet new friends there. Fabulous place for when a band plays and a sports game also, especially during NFL season, (Go ‘Phins!) The owner takes care of his customers and is an all around good guy. Family friendly too! Recommended.

First time there, great spot right on the water. I didn't eat, just threw back a few pops.$2.50 for a domestic draft beer with all the games on, what else do you need?

A simple yet friendly local bar. Drinks are generous and food is basic and delicious. A taste of the sea with clams, steamers, mussels, crab legs to burgers . They have live music, pool tables with indoor and out for seating.

Very disappointed with the the lack of care in this unprecedented time. No social distancing at all, all the tables are close together. The waitress told us to wear a mask walking to our table but there was a lot of customers walking around without one. At the time of paying the bill the waiter gave me a filthy pen to sign on and who knows where that pen has been. Thank God I had hand sanitizer in the car.

The "north shore" of New Jersey has a lot to offer starting with Keyport which is having a renaissance of eateries. This one the Blue Rock Cafe has some amazing shrimp and a very good nachos appetizer. we sat outside and enjoyed the view.

I meet friends in this place quite a bit! This is the best place to grab a bite. I go there many times. The food is of high quality, the staff members are helpful and the prices are fair. I like being in this restaurant over a nice lunch.

Good casual dining. Right on the inlet in Keyport NJ. In the mood for seafood, the family (5) ordered some clams on the 1/2 (raw & grilled) can't go wrong, and 4 orders of king crab and 1 lobster. For the amount and quality of the food the final bill was not bad. Add on a few drinks and we were a very happy group! Would definitely go back.

Great place to go and hang out. Boat docks if you come in from the water and plenty of parking if you're driving. Friendly staff and good food

Initially met by staffer not quite having a good day, and almost left. The other staff was friendly caring and eager to make my stay a good one. Had the ribs that were a huge portion and tasty though a little dry. The drinks were very generous. Convenient parking. Can't wait for all their areas are opened again.

Food was amazing. Wings here are top notch, the Blue Rock salad was fresh and great tasting. Service was great too.

Outside staff and service is pretty awful. They never visit your table and check on you. We saw the one waitress chatting with people for awhile instead of working. One appetizer was forgotten / never put in. We got charged for things we shouldn't have. The staff just paid no attention. Drink prices weren't great either. My son left his toys on the table and we went back 2 mins later and they were gone which was a bit mean too. We won't be returning. The only reason why I gave it two stars is because the food was decent so good job chef. Too bad the service sucks.

Bring your own silverware. Don't expect any ambiance. Place is dirty but we knew that going in. Crab Legs are usually delicious but there have been a few exceptions. soggy and mushy crab meat.If you go for the crab legs...Count the legs! sometimes they short you.

Just a fun place and inexpensive. Now, of course,only outside. Whenever indoor opens (probably a very long time) they have music & I, I think, pool table.

Great friendly local bar with awesome juke box selection and great sound system. I love their food, just wish their menu had more salads on it. Love the vibe here of the crowd, and music is not too loud, good for conversation. Great outdoor bar and dining in the summer. I have been coming here for 10 years.

This is a type of seafood bar ATMOSPHERE. Like I have not seen in years. Sit on the deck with 150 of your new closet friends. EAT and Drink responsible, sing. Have fun make it a must this summer. Great Steamers. The pizza is also a surprise. The waitresses, are also part of the great service and experience. At 9 there is live music. WOW.
